Fire and Ice Series: Fire and Ice e Acrylic on Canvas 16" x 20" I
include a second image of this piece. because it employs
interference media at the microscopic scale, embedded in glazes.
The piece appears to change color with the lighting conditions, the
angle of reflection, and several other factors. As in very many of
my pieces which employ extreme multi-layer glazes, often with such
embedded particles, standard photography does not capture it well
